Championship club losses


Wolves post a loss of £63m for 17/18 season, a country mile beyond the financial sustainability thresholds. Any action?

And Villa, well, blimey. It is understood that their losses for 17/18 were £35m EXCLUDING player wages, which through the magic of modern accounting were paid for by another company. Including wages it is understood their season loss would have been £85m. For ONE season. They are obviously going to fail again in 18/19 season, which is another £85m loss, and whatever happens (even if they go up) in the 19/20 season, another £85m. So that would make £250m losses in a three year period, truly staggering. That is a quarter of a billion pounds. Unbelievable...
