Re: *****Season 2017-18*****

Week 14 (22nd / 23rd Dec 17)

RG (12) 145
Cheshire (14) 140
Gong (16) 139
Sully (9) 117
Mrs RG (12) 109
Wilts (11) 106
Uwinsc (8) 86

A storming 16 from Gong as he shines in a high-scoring week. Chesh also closes in on top spot.

Week 15 (26th Dec 17 - Boxing Day Fixtures)

RG (13) 158
Cheshire (10) 150
Gong (8) 147
Sully (11) 128
Mrs RG (7) 116
Wilts (5) 111
Uwinsc (10) 96

So RG stretches his lead again, Gong has a bad Boxing Day - too much turkey, no doubt!!! - and there’s a better score for Uwinsc at the bottom.

Re: *****Season 2017-18*****

Week 16 (30th Dec 17)

RG (2) 160
Cheshire (0) 150
Gong (0) 147
Sully (2) 130
Mrs RG (4) 120
Wilts (2) 113
Uwinsc (4) 96

The calendar year finished with “ladies day”, as Mrs RG and Uwinsc top-scored with 4 apiece in what was generally an appalling low-scoring set of fixtures.

Chesh and Gong didn’t do their title challenges much use AT ALL, both firing the season’s very first blanks, while RG stumbled ahead on 2.

Week 17 (1st / 2nd January '18 - New Year's Day Fixtures)

RG (13) 173
Cheshire (9) 159
Gong (11) 158
Sully (11) 141
Mrs RG (7) 127

Uwinsc (11) 107

RG has extended his lead again in the first game week of 2018. He shares joint top scorer honours with Wilts (13).

Week 18 (13th / 14th January '18)

RG (5) 178
Cheshire (8) 167
Gong (5) 163
Sully (4) 145
Mrs RG (10) 137
Wilts (7) 133
Uwinsc (7) 114

So after the break for FA Cup weekend, it’s Mrs RG who sees her new picks help her to the highest scoring prize for the week.

Meantime, Chesh has gained ground on leader RG.

In other news, it appears Gong’s transfer chnahges see him exactly match RG’s, meaning parity til the late window in late March. Won’t leave him much time to close the gap.

Gong (11) 174
Sully (8) 153

Uwinsc (9) 123

RG extended his lead again, while further back in the rankings, Wilts scored the week’s best to continue his steady progress.

Week 20 (3rd / 4th February '18)

RG (8) 197
Cheshire (8) 184
Gong (8) 182
Sully (7) 160
Wilts (8) 153
Mrs RG (12) 151
Uwinsc (8) 131

8 seemed to be a VERY popular score, with 5 of the 7 competitors scoring as such. Sully came in just below that for the week's lowest while Mrs RG returned to form to comfortably take the spoils (12).

Right that's it! I've finally caught up just ahead of tomorrow's next battle.

Can Chesh make a timely gain on long-term pacesetter RG?

Week 21 (10th / 11th February '18)

RG (14) 211
Gong (14) 196
Cheshire (9) 193
Sully (9) 169
Wilts (14) 167
Mrs RG (8) 159
Uwinsc (10) 141

A storming week for RG (leader), Gong (up to 2nd) and Wilts (gaining sizeable ground on Sully).

With 11 weeks to go, it looks like shaping up as a 3-horse race!

Week 22 (24th / 25th February '18)

RG (8) 219
Gong (8) 204
Cheshire (10) 203
Wilts (12) 179
Sully (9) 178
Mrs RG (11) 170
Uwinsc (6) 147

Cheshire has gained a little on the Dynamic Duo at the top of the table, Wilts has finally overtaken Sully after 6 consecutive weeks of gradual gain and Mrs RG had a much improved week, beaten only this week by the aforementioned Wilts.

Week 23 (3rd / 4th March '18)

RG (4) 223
Chesh (5) 208
Gong (4) 208
Sully (8) 186
Wilts (2) 181
Mrs RG (5) 175
Uwinsc (2) 149

In a week where the fixture list was decimated by the effects of snow and ice, only Sully seemed to transcend the postponements and then some! ManUre and Boro scoring three a-piece helped him to easily the best score of 8 and a one-place rise in the table.

Next best were Chesh, who rises back to 2nd place, and Mrs RG who's leaving poor ole Uwinsc looking increasingly lonely at the foot of the table.
