SUPER MAY - With Final Prediction Table
We always did look at the end of the season with a bit of a gulp, and a hope with not too much conviction, that we would be safe by then. And that was before Man City got thrown into the mix.
Well our battlers have earned two good draws in the last two matches, a few wins over the last 7 matches would have been more welcome, but we are now clinging to safety point by point and match by match. Still not in the clear, but it would take some remarkable results from a number of teams for us now to be relegated. But then again stranger things have happened, it is the end of season unpredictable time (look at WBA results of late and how we missed out on the title last season with 3 matches to go) and the fat lady has not even got out of bed, let alone starting to clear her throat!
The Burnley result gave Haddock the full monty of points, to make the battle for the bottom interesting, but Sully and Norton you have to be in it to beat him! At the top Gong and Uwinsc, could yet take the crown if they gained maximum points, but the battle for second spot is more realistic between the two.
Now the final push, predicting for the big 3, can be done match by match or all 3 at once.

Gong (2) 50
Uwinsc (1) 49
Wedgee (-) 37
Wilts (1) 25
Haddock (5) 23
Norton (-) 21

Re: SUPER MAY - United, City and Liverpool
Well what a match, what an occasion the United game was, caught us all out, except Haddock who predicted a win and Gross to score. Will we ever see a game quite like that, will we ever beat Man United again?
Who knows but certainly a match to saver maybe for a lifetime, from 'Smith must score', to The ball crossed the line, Gross did score!
Thank you to the 5 who are still left, Wedgee, Norton and Sully come in for the last two matches for old times sake, and for the latter two to at least try and not finish bottom. As for the captain, our current West Brom, from rock bottom now trying for a late run to storm the league!

Re: SUPER MAY - United, City and Liverpool
A rather predictable record breaking score-line for City, maybe the only unpredictable aspect was we actually scored. Uwinsc was spot on the money for 3 points, if only she had put Ulloa as scorer and not Murray?
This sets up nicely the fight for second place as we go to Liverpool - can Uwinsc topple the mighty Gong?
However, I cannot be caught and with the title comes the round the world all expenses paid cruise (a worthy prize for such a prestigious competition I am sure you will all agree!)
