The End Is Nigh!
No nothing to do with Syria or Russia, or the fact we failed to get a result at Palace, both of which in world state of affairs are about level in terms of seriousness!!
No the visuals are slowly fading one by one. First it was the emoticons, slowly emptying out, but now it is the players photo's. The BOMB caption screen is now blank.
Although I note the Abuse Palace Forum has gained entries over last few days, this has been up and empty for some time, but slowly the tumbleweed is drifting across the site.
I will keep the match thread predictions going to end of season, providing Runboard do not cut the plug on us first, with a Burnley thread and a super May triple thread. then it will probably be time to turn off the lights. But more on that when the time comes. Of course we also still have the accumulator running, until end of season.

Yes it's been dying a slow death bit by bit, hasn't it?!
I will make this season the last for the Accumulator on here. As some will know, I've been running a concurrent comp on my Whatsapp group for a couple of years already, which is 'where it's at'!!! If anyone on here wants to join that pm me your number in the next couple of weeks (in case this site goes altogether).
Also if anyone wants to join my general Whatsapp group for ongoing Albion banter feel free to do the same as above
Gong: I've suggested to Early that you could text Hm or me your weekly selections if you want in on the Whatsapp Accumulator.

Cheers mate but I'll give it a miss, shame this board will be closing down but the writing was on the wall when we left the official site, luckily nearly all of us have contact through other means so we won't lose touch anyway.

With Gong saying that most have contact through other means, just wondering if any do not have any main contact with BOMB'ers other than through this site.
For instance while I do not have contact with Gong apart from this site (he is not part of the Whats App group), I have contact with other Bombers who I know do have contact with Gong, so the link continues.
Similarly Wilts, Sully and Uwinsc, I have no contact with apart from this site. Like Gong do you have contact with others Bombers?
Would be a shame if we were to lose contact completely, after all you have been part of the BOMB message boards collectively for decades.
As Haddock says PM him to join the Whats App Banter group or the Whats App accumulator group, or both!

I have Gong on Facebook and I'm part of the goldstone ground group too. I don't do what's app at the moment.

I suspect if runboard close it then it will be during close season when the activity level drops off completely but just my luck it will be before the end of the season- the 1 year I have done remotely well in the prediction league!

Good to see that you are on Facebook contact with current and ex Bomber's, might even venture myself onto the Goldstone site eventually, will see.
To be honest I have no idea how Runboard works, it did seem whenever they came on to do a board of the month type vote, we were up against equally very small interest group boards. Do not know what their criteria is for pulling the plug, but would be surprised if they switch us off before the end of season, and probably find the site itself keeps going.
I think the emoticons and the pictures are just our own poor maintenance, do not even know if anyone still on board has administrator rights?

Hello all, not posted on here in ages. I hope those who aren't on the WhatsApp group do make the move, if you are one of those who posted on the official forum I have spoken to you via this medium for over half my life, it'd be nice to have you there, as well as anyone else!
