Brighton took the lead, and had chances to increase the lead, but no far better to let the opposition score and go for the draw, then collect 3 points. Okay so there were heart stopping moments at the end when it looked like we had lost the precious point we so love obtaining, but for Saveing Private Ryan (thanks to Jonny Canter for that pun) , a desperate tackle from behind (after Superman we have Dunkman, was the way Geoff Snelling described it on Sky Sports News) and a header off the line from Knocky. There is the easy way and the Brighton way! However, it is games like at Stoke that could/will cost us Premier League survival, if only we could hold on to a win. Next up in the league is Swansea at home. Such is their turn of fortune and run of results with a new manager, I no longer see them as being part of our group of probables for relegation, whatever the score might be in this game. That group to me is very much West Brom, Huddersfield, Stoke, Newcastle, Southampton and us. And Palace without Saha. There will be plenty of twists and turns yet, but we are going to have to start wining a few more matches to give ourselves a good chance of being in the Premier next season. As for the prediction league, not saying we are becoming predictable but we had 5 guess the correct scoreline, although only Gong went for Izquierdo as the goalscorer. His 5 points see's him leap over Wedgee for the Bronze position, can he next catch Uwinsc's? We have a break for the Cup, but this thread is up and running for the Swansea Match. And Sully where are you, the slippery Haddock is catching you up?
