Re: *****Season 2017-18*****

Week 24 (10th / 11th March '18)

RG (7) 230
Chesh (8) 216
Gong (7) 215
Sully (7) 193
Wilts (7) 188
Mrs RG (3) 178
Uwinsc (12) 161

RG had his lead cut by a solitary point this week but is this too small a gain for this stage with only a few weeks to go? We will see.

It was the two extremes this week for the ladies with Mrs RG posting easily the lowest score of 3, while Uwinsc was by far and away the highest scorer with 12. Is there a glimmer of hope in hauling herself off bottom spot?!

Week 25 (17th / 18th March '18)

RG (4) 234
Gong (4) 219
Chesh (2) 218
Sully (8) 201
Wilts (4) 192
Mrs RG (13) 191
Uwinsc (8) 169

RG slightly extended his lead by 1, while Gong edged ahead of Chesh who had a bad week (2).

By far and away the biggest scorer was Mrs Inconsistent aka Mrs RG, who bagged a baker’s dozen, thanks mailnly to Liverpool and Salah! She ALMOST scored heavily enough to take a surprise lead over Wilts.

Sully’s continued good form sees him looking a little lonely and isolated in 4th.

Please note there is now a week’s break and the final transfer window of the season. Please make any transfers on the dedicated thread in General Chat.

No glimmer of hope. I have accepted rock bottom and am focusing on the prediction league!

Oh dear! Understandable though. You're doing pretty well in that. I'm the exact opposite!

Week 26 (30th / 31st March / 1st April '18)

RG (10) 244
Chesh (11) 229
Gong (10) 229
Sully (7) 208
Mrs RG (8) 199
Wilts (5) 197
Uwinsc (5) 174

Despite significant separation of picks following the recent transfer window, RG and Gong STILL seem inseparable on point scoring! emoticon

However, Chesh just ousted them on week's best (11) meaning he also squeezed past Gong back into 2nd.

Meantime Mrs RG rose a place and made a slight gain on Sully too.

Week 27 (7th / 8th April weekend '18)

RG (8) 252
Gong (8) 237
Chesh (6) 235
Sully (9) 217
Wilts (7) 204
Mrs RG (4) 203
Uwinsc (9) 183

The lead remains the same but Chesh has dropped 2 points behind Gong in the chase to catch the leader.

Mrs RG breaks the 200 barrier but in rather unspectacular style, scoring the week's worst tally of 4, while also through that milestone but in far more impressive fashion is joint-top-scorer Wilts.

Sharing highest scoring honours is Uwinsc, who makes a late bid to avoid that wooden spoon, but with just 4 weeks remaining is it too late??

Week 28 (14th / 15th April weekend '18)

RG (10) 262
Gong (7) 244
Chesh (8) 243
Sully (7) 224
Wilts (8) 212
Mrs RG (7) 210
Uwinsc (3) 186

RG extends his lead (top-scoring with 10), now looking odds on to finally bag his first BUMBers Accumulator title at the very last opportunity.

At the other end Uwinsc looks to have bagged that wooden spoon with another bad week.
