The only other upward mover was secon-highest scoring Wilts (10) who rises to 4th in the fledgling standings.

Week 3 (16th Sept 17)

Wilts (17) 30
RG (14) 30
Gong (15) 29
Chesh (13) 28
Sully (15) 27
Uwinsc (11) 22
Mrs RG (11) 21

Rats! Thought I'd held the lead til that spoilsport Wilts rocked in with an huge score of 17, in a very high scoring week that saw a few players double their tallies and then some!

It's a nice close race so far with the top 5 separated by just 3 points. Game on!

Week 4 (23rd Sept 17)

RG (12) 42
Chesh (12) 40
Gong (9) 38
Wilts (8) 38
Sully (7) 34
Mrs RG (9) 30
Uwinsc (8) 30

This week's top-scorers are also now the top 2 position-holders. RG is back on top and Chesh has shot up to 2nd.

Meantime Mrs RG has managed to squeeze off the bottom of the table.

Week 5 (30th Sept 17)

RG (13) 55
Sully (14) 48
Wilts (10) 48
Chesh (8) 48
Gong (8) 46
Mrs RG (13) 43
Uwinsc (8) 38

RG increases his lead at the top but the 13 point haul with which he shared honours with Mrs RG was still beaten by the highly impressive 14 Sully managed, a tally which squeezes him above the also upwardly mobile Wilts.

Uwinsc has been left behind at the bottom for now.

Week 6 (14th Oct 17)

RG (18) 73
Gong (19) 65
Chesh (17) 65
Sully (11) 59
Wilts (5) 53
Mrs RG (3) 46
Uwinsc (4) 42

RG extends his lead with each of the nearer challengers slipping up. This week's scoring was hugely distinguished by those who had City AND Luton vs those who had neither! The only player who had one out of the two was mid-scoring Sully, who's 11 keeps him in reasonable touch.

It's no coincidence that the City + Luton crew now top the table.

Week 7 (21st Oct 17)

RG (8) 81
Gong (8) 73
Chesh (7) 72
Sully (5) 64
Wilts (5) 58
Mrs RG (10) 56
Uwinsc (9) 51

Girl power!

Mrs RG top-scored with 10 and Uwinsc struck the next best total (9) to close the gap at the bottom.

Week 8 (28th Oct 17)

RG (6) 87
Gong (4) 77
Chesh (3) 75
Sully (4) 68
Wilts (6) 64
Mrs RG (6) 62
Uwinsc (1) 52

It's a good week for long-term leader RG, who out-gunned the nearest challengers, whilst Wilts and on-form Mrs RG had a go at dragging themselves out of the wilderness.

This was bad news for Uwinsc, whose excellent 9 last week was undermined by a terrible week this time (1).
