Re: ******Season 2016-17******

Week 2

20th/21st August

Blimby (11) 18
Darlo Andy (11) 16
Braders (9) 16
Wilts (10) 15
Mrs Haddock (9) 15
Gong (8) 13
Chesh (6) 12
RG (Haddock) (3) 11
Ballantrrae (6) 9
Sully (8) 8

So Blimby and Darlo Andy shared top-scoring credits (11 each) to scale the heights and take the top two spots. Week 1 leader RG epically failed to follow up the great start.

Week 3 - 28th / 29th August 2016

Darlo Andy (10) 26
Blimby (7) 25
Braders (8) 24
Gong (9) 22
Wilts (7) 22
Mrs Haddock (6) 21
Chesh (8) 20
Ballantrrae (10) 19
RG (Haddock) (8) 19
Sully (6) 14

Darlo Andy takes the summit after scoring joint best with lowly Ballantrrae as the early runners and riders jostle for position.

Re: ******Season 2016-17******

Week 4 - 11th / 12th September 2016

Braders (9) 33
Gong (10) 32
& Wilts (10) 32
Blimby (6) 31
Darlo Andy (5) 31
RG (Haddock) (11) 30
Chesh (8) 28
Mrs Haddock (7) 28
Ballantrrae (7) 26
Sully (9) 23

A poor week for Darlo Andy lets Braders steal the lead, with Gong and Wilts out scoring the new pacesetter to move right onto his shoulder.

Top scorer was RG, though late-starter Sully also had a good week to close in on the rest.

Re: ******Season 2016-17******

Week 5 - 17th / 18th September 2016

Braders (7) 40
Blimby (8) 39
Mrs Haddock (9) 37
Wilts (5) 37
Darlo Andy (5) 36
RG (5) 35
Gong (3) 35
Ballantrrae (7) 33
Chesh (4) 32
Sully (8) 31

Braders clings to the lead, Mrs Haddock makes waves with a table-climbing week's best of 9 and strugglers Ballantrrae and Sully have reviving weeks.

Re: ******Season 2016-17******

Week 6 - 24th / 25th September 2016

Braders (15) 55
Blimby (11) 50
Mrs Haddock (11) 48
& Wilts (11) 48
RG (11) 46
Darlo Andy (9) 45
Chesh (12) 44
Gong (8) 43
Ballantrrae (9) 42
Sully (9) 40

Imperious form from Braders, by 3 clear points the top scorer this week but more importantly 4 better than his nearest rival Blimby on what was generally a high scoring week.

Re: ******Season 2016-17******

Week 7 - 1st / 2nd October 2016

Braders (4) 59
Blimby (7) 57
RG (5) 51
Mrs Haddock (3) 51
& Wilts (3) 51
Chesh (5) 49
Gong (5) 48
Darlo Andy (3) 48
Ballantrrae (4) 46
Sully (5) 45

So Braders retains the lead once again but Blimby has made significant inroads on that lead.

RG squeezes up two places as one of a number of players to score 5 this week. Mrs H and Wilts are still inseparable while Sully continues to bring up the rear. However, he started a week late and has done well to have clawed back the deficit on his nearest prey.

Re: ******Season 2016-17******

Week 8 - 15th/16th October

Braders (11) 70
Blimby (7) 64
RG (9) 60
Gong (11) 59
Chesh (9) 58
Mrs Haddock (6) 57
& Wilts (6) 57
Sully (9) 54
Darlo Andy (6) 54
Ballantrrae (7) 53

A great week for Braders, who increases his lead at the top. Gong shared top-scoring with him (11) to shoot up three places.

It was a landmark week for Sully, who's excellent 9 takes him above two competitors and off the bottom, having started one week after everyone else.

Re: ******Season 2016-17******

Week 9 - 22nd/23rd October

Braders (5) 75
Blimby (6) 70
Gong (10) 69
RG (9) 69
Wilts (5) 62
Chesh (3) 61
Sully (5) 59
Ballantrrae (5) 58
Darlo Andy (4) 58
Mrs Haddock (1) 58

It's getting interesting at the top! Despite closing in with 9, RG still slipped a place (damn you, Gong!!!) due to a top tally from the aforementioned Beanpole Badger emoticon

Biggest news though is that Mrs Haddock has hit rock bottom for the first time ever after a truly disastrous week. This must also go down as the tightest week in history at the bottom.

It's a really competitive league so far - just like The Championship!!!

Week 10 - 29th & 30th October

Braders (11) 86
Blimby (13) 83
RG (8) 77
Gong (7) 76
Sully (11) 70
Wilts (8) 70
Darlo Andy (9) 67
Mrs Haddock (8) 66
Ballantrrae (5) 63
Chesh (2) 63

First of all, humble apologies for a very delayed few weeks on the updates front. I'll post further updates for the subsequent weeks that we are behind one by one (for dramatic effect!!!) throughout the day - or later this week if I run out of time. It is safe to say I have been VERY busy these past few months.

Anyway, today's first backdated results show the top two are looking like the Newcasle and Albion of the [sign in to see URL] scoring their way to an increased lead in the standings.

RG sneaks back ahead of Gong into third, Sully rises the ranks with an excellent 11 and Darlo Andy and Mrs Haddock climbed up (in Mrs H's case off the bottom of the table, which is now occupied by sorry Cheshire. His piffling two points follow a similarly awful tally of just 3 the previous week and represent some really badly timed bad form.

Re: ******Season 2016-17******

Week 11 - 5th & 6th November

Braders (13) 99
RG (18) 95
Blimby (10) 93
Gong (11) 87
Sully (8) 78
Wilts (7) 77
Darlo Andy (9) 76
Mrs Haddock (8) 74
Chesh (9) 72
Ballantrrae (6) 69

Only movers this week were RG and Chesh. RG smashed Braders' 5 week old record for the best week's tally as he scored a stunning 18 to rise up to 2nd, as the race to be the first into treble figures comes to a head.
