Re: Season 2014-15

Week 24

28th Feb / 1st Mar '15 Fixtures

Div 1

Haddock (3) 204
Wilts (4) 198
Midland (8) 179
Cheshire (4) 178
Wills (6) 173
Ian (7) 171
McGetta (4) 170
Elmer (5) 153
-----------------
Braders (6) 149

Haddock still tops the tree (for a 3rd week), Midland continues to make up ground on the leading pack and Braders closes slightly on Elmer in the bid for survival.

Div 2

Blimby (10) 205
------------------
Matthew The Gooner (6) 189
Mrs Haddock (3) 186
Sully (6) 185
Turkey (5) 185
Early (6) 180
Gong (3) 162
Norton (2) 131
Uwinsc (4) 128
Andy (2) 120

Blimby was the only player to make double figures in either division this week to widen his lead. Matthew has overtaken Mrs Haddock again while Sully, Turkey and Early are all still in with a shout.

Re: Season 2014-15

Week 25

14th / 15th Mar '15 Fixtures

Div 1

Haddock (7) 211
Wilts (9) 207
Midland (10) 189
Cheshire (6) 184
Wills (6) 179
McGetta (8) 178
Ian (2) 173
Elmer (7) 160
-----------------
Braders (3) 152

Wilts gains on the lead by a couple of points but Midland closes in by an extra one as the challenge for the title hots up.

The only change of places sees McGetta overtake Ian, who had a particularly bad week.

Div 2

Blimby (8) 213
------------------
Matthew The Gooner (9) 198
Sully (5) 190
Mrs Haddock (4) 190
Turkey (4) 189
Early (4) 184
Gong (6) 168
Norton (7) 138
Uwinsc (3) 131
Andy (6) 126

Not much to report this week but a better week for Norton and Andy has clawed back another 3 points on Uwinsc.

Re: Season 2014-15

Week 26

21st / 22nd Mar '15 Fixtures

Div 1

Haddock (13) 224
Wilts (10) 217
Midland (8) 197
Cheshire (10) 194
McGetta (11) 189
Wills (6) 185
Ian (10) 183
Elmer (6) 166
-----------------
Braders (7) 159

Haddock top scores with 13 in a high-scoring week. That stretches his lead back up by 3 to 7 points from second place Wilts. Mids loses a bit of ground and McGetta's impressive 11 takes him up another place as he tries to recover his earlier-season position.

Div 2

Blimby (10) 223
------------------
Matthew The Gooner (3) 201
Mrs Haddock (8) 198
Turkey (7) 196
Sully (6) 196
Early (6) 190
Gong (6) 174
Norton (11) 149
Uwinsc (9) 140
Andy (7) 133

A great week for Blimby, who stretches his lead by all of 7 points after a disasterous showing from Matthew. Blimby's promotion is now looking odds on.

Mrs H and Turkey both overtook Sully in the chasing pack, while top scorer this week is the form girl Norton, who stole the show with her 11. Will she, like Albion, be building momentum to take into next season???!!!

Re: Season 2014-15

So, let me get this right, the only predictions type game where haddock is doing anything above bottom quartile is the one game where he makes up the rules himself!!!!

Says it all, he's a cad and a bounder..........

Re: Season 2014-15

Week 27

Good Friday (3rd April) / 4th April / 5th April '15 Fixtures

Div 1

Haddock (5) 229
Wilts (8) 225
Midland (11) 208
Cheshire (7) 201
McGetta (8) 197
Ian (9) 192
Wills (5) 190
Elmer (4) 170
-----------------
Braders (4) 163

Wilts gains three in the title race and Ian swaps places with Wills. Mids top scores. That is all!!!

Div 2

Blimby (6) 229
------------------
Matthew The Gooner (9) 210
Turkey (9) 205
Mrs Haddock (7) 205
Sully (5) 201
Early (4) 194
Gong (6) 180
Norton (7) 156
Uwinsc (3) 143
Andy (8) 141

Matthew gains on runaway leader Blimby but it's likely too little too [sign in to see URL] is it???

Turkey edges ahead of Mrs Haddock for 3rd, while Andy is closing in on Uwinsc in the battle to avoid being spoon fed the wood!!!

Re: Season 2014-15

Week 28

11th April / 12th April '15 Fixtures

Div 1

Haddock (7) 236
Wilts (7) 232
Midland (7) 215
Cheshire (6) 207
McGetta (5) 202
Ian (5) 197
Wills (4) 194
Elmer (7) 177
-----------------
Braders (9) 172

The status quo is maintained at the top with each of the top 3 scoring 7. Elmer scored the same at the other end in a reasonable week but will still have to be careful as Braders is thundering up from the foot of the table.

Div 2

Blimby (4) 233
------------------
Matthew The Gooner (5) 215
Turkey (6) 211
Mrs Haddock (5) 210
Sully (8) 209
Early (5) 199
Gong (6) 186
Norton (6) 162
Andy (6) 147
Uwinsc (2) 145

Blimby is chilling the champers despite a mediocre week, Uwinsc must hang her head in shame as she has been caught up by very late starter Andy in the race to avoid the dreaded wooden spoon and my theory that Gong is the devil incarnate has been dispelled. His form read 6-6-6 but don't panic folks, he's added a fourth successive 6 to spoil the effect!!!!
