Re: Season 2014-15
Week 7
4th / 5th October 2014
Div 1
Wilts (6) 56
Haddock (7) 51
Cheshire (7) 49
Ian (6) 49
Midland (5) 48
Wills (6) 46
Elmer (6) 45
Braders (7) 44
McGetta (9) 37
Dave -
Sharon -
The Cloak -
Al -
Hardly any change this week at all with Cheshire the only person moving up a place. Top scorer this week was late-starter McGetta.
Div 2
Blimby (10) 68
Turkey (6) 54
Early (7) 52
Sully (6) 51
Matthew the Gooner (2) 51
Mrs Haddock (7) 47
Gong (2) 44
Norton (5) 33
Uwinsc - (6) 23
Andy -
Mrs Wills -
Quadrant -
So Blimby stretches his lead at the top of the div, while Turkey, Early and Sully rise a place. The big losers this week were Matthew and Gong. However it was a good week for two of the ladies, Mrs Haddock and Uwinsc.

Re: Season 2014-15
Week 8
18th / 19th October 2014
Div 1
Wilts (9) 65
Cheshire (10) 59
Haddock (6) 57
Wills (9) 55
Midland (7) 55
Ian (6) 55
Elmer (8) 53
Braders (7) 51
-----------------
McGetta (8) 45
So back from the international week and the relegation ------ has been added....the pressure gradually starts to build from here.
At the other end Wilts maintains control while Chesh is up to 2nd.
Div 2
Blimby (8) 76
----------------
Sully (15) 66
Early (14) 66
Turkey (12) 66
Matthew the Gooner (12) 63
Mrs Haddock (7) 54
Gong (8) 52
Norton (4) 37
Uwinsc - (9) 32
Andy - (12) 12
So lots going on in Div 2.
It was a very high scoring week compared to Div 1 but incredibly Turkey's handsome total of 12 wasn't enough to keep hold of 2nd place due to an even bigger total (14) this week from Early.....but wait!!!....even more incredibly 14 wasn't enough for Early to grab 2nd either, with Sully topping the lot with a stunning 15!!! What a battle!
Even just below that the scoring was high With Matthew bagging a very good 12 too.
Overall Blimby still holds a commanding lead in the one spot that counts, as he looks to bounce straight back to the top flight at the first time of asking.
Also, Andy has finally been in touch (just in time!!!) to post his picks and record a very good 12 point starter.

Haddock (4) 61
Ian (4) 59
Braders (7) 58

Midland (2) 57
-----------------

& Turkey (5) 71

Re: Season 2014-15
Week 10
1st / 2nd November 2014
Div 1
Wilts (6) 74
Cheshire (5) 69
Haddock (5) 66
Ian (6) 65
Wills (4) 65
Midland (7) 64
Elmer (5) 62
Braders (4) 62
-----------------
McGetta (3) 53
Wilts slightly extends his lead, Haddock and Ian overtake Wills and top-scorer Midland (7) rises.
A bad week for McG, who's distance from safety has crept slightly away.
Div 2
Blimby (6) 87
----------------
Sully (8) 78
Matthew The Gooner (8) 77
Turkey (5) 76
Early (4) 75
Mrs Haddock (8) 68
Gong (8) 66
Norton (5) 44
Uwinsc (4) 41
Andy (7) 24
Blimby's lead has been cut by one but NOT by the nearest two names at start of play. It's strong mover Sully that has snipped at the lead, storming through with fellow 8-pointer Matthew in hot pursuit!
Mid-tablers Mrs Haddock and Gong also struck impressive 8's while Andy continues his late-starting campaign with a very good 7.

Re: Season 2014-15
Week 11
8th / 9th November 2014
Div 1
Wilts (11) 85
Cheshire (12) 81
Haddock (13) 79
Ian (11) 76
& Wills (11) 76
Midland (7) 71
Elmer (8) 70
Braders (6) 68
-----------------
McGetta (13) 66
In a high scoring week, Chesh and Haddock respectively closed in on leader Wilts while Mids, Elmer and Braders all slipped towards trouble. A great week was had by McGetta though, making a giant stride towards the safety places.
Div 2
Blimby (11) 98
----------------
Turkey (14) 90
Early (14) 89
Sully (9) 87
Matthew The Gooner (9) 86
Mrs Haddock (9) 77
Gong (7) 73
Uwinsc (6) 47
Norton (2) 46
Andy (5) 29
A great week for week's highest scorers Turkey and Early (14 each) who both raced ahead of Sully and Matthew in the chasing pack.
Norton had another tragic score but Andy hardly managed to make up any ground regardless, with a mediocre tally of his own.
There's a gap this weekend due to the international break.

Re: Season 2014-15
Week 13
29th / 30th November 2014
Div 1
Wilts (13) 105
Haddock (12) 101
Cheshire (8) 96
Ian (9) 94
Wills (5) 90
McGetta (13) 88
Midland (10) 88
Elmer (6) 87
-----------------
Braders (8) 81
So not much change. Wilts slightly increases his lead over Haddock, who in turn stretches away from the chasing pack.
Mids overtook Elmer but was himself superseded by joint-top-scoring McG .
Div 2
Blimby (6) 111
----------------
Turkey (8) 106
Early (4) 102
Sully (5) 100
Matthew The Gooner (5) 96
Mrs Haddock (8) 93
Gong (4) 88
Norton (5) 62
Uwinsc (5) 61
Andy (9) 43
Not much change in Div 2 either, with Turkey moving uo to 2nd. A good week for Mrs Haddock and Andy.

Re: Season 2014-15
Week 14
13th / 14th December 2014
Div 1
Wilts (11) 116
Haddock (9) 110
Cheshire (4) 100
Ian (4) 98
Midland (9) 97
Wills (5) 95
McGetta (4) 92
Elmer (3) 90
-----------------
Braders (3) 84
So we're back after a week's break for the FA Cup weekend and I can start by simply repeating the first sentence of my last match post: "So not much change. Wilts slightly increases his lead over Haddock,"!!!!
It's the same this week as Wilts top-scored his way to an extended lead with 11 compared to Haddock's (and Midland's) 9. However all others flopped badly to lose ground on the pacesetters. Braders remains the fall guy for now.
Div 2
Blimby (9) 120
----------------
Turkey (2) 108
Early (4) 106
Sully (5) 105
Mrs Haddock (11) 104
Matthew The Gooner (8) 104
Gong (6) 94
Norton (5) 67
Uwinsc (3) 64
Andy (7) 50
A great week for Blimby who strides much further clear at the top - looking VERY good for that promotion at the moment.
It was a terrible week for the immediately chasing pack. Matthew scored very well to gain ground on them but STILL lost his place to the top-scoring Mrs Haddock, who's 11 point haul propels her right up into the mix.
(Very) Late starter Andy has made up some impressive ground as he bids for a highly unlikely challenge. He now has started to bring Uwinsc and Norton into range of his viewfinder.

Re: Season 2014-15
Week 15
20th / 21st December 2014
Div 1
Wilts (10) 126
Haddock (13) 123
Ian (11) 109
Midland (10) 107
Cheshire (6) 106
McGetta (12) 104
Wills (7) 102
Elmer (8) 98
-----------------
Braders (9) 93
Top scorer Haddock closes in on the still strong Wilts in the battle of the bellies! Chesh was the biggest stumbler.
Div 2
Blimby (9) 129
----------------
Turkey (12) 120
Mrs Haddock (11) 115
Sully (7) 112
Early (6) 112
Matthew The Gooner (5) 109
Gong (7) 101
Norton (5) 72
Uwinsc (6) 70
Andy (8) 58
Christmas Turkey has cut Blimby's lead to 9 with his top-scoring antics while Mrs Haddock is also pulling the moves again (11 for the second successive week).
Meantime Andy is plucking away gradually at the bottom like a drunken butcher.
