Don't worry, Maria. I promise I won't found a third division...although that might mean you and my other half continuing your regular basement battle in Div 2 next season!!!

Re: Latest Standings - 2010-2011

Week 24 - 26th & 27th February 2011

Div 1

Ian (8) 126
Gong (6) 119
Cheshire (9) 116
& Wills (9) 116
Locky (1) 116
Blimby (4) 112
Dave (6) 111
Munkeyboy (0) 110
Haddock (9) 108
Rochdale (4) 107
-----------------------
Wilts (3) 104
Early (9) 98

Ian extends his lead at the summit, Locky's brief affair with the top 2 is already over....he prematurely ejaculated with a piffling 1 point !

Chesh and Wills are now locked together on 116 points after strong weekly scoring, but they weren't the only people to notch a week's best 9....basement buffoons Haddock and Early both struck back - Haddock rising TWO PLACES and Early closing the gap to struggling Roch and Wilts in his desperate bid for safety!

Div 2

Midland (7) 116
SDU (4) 115
----------------------------
Eric (4) 114
Sharon (2) 113
McGetta (9) 111
The Future Mrs Wills (3) 109
Andy (1) 108
Braders (2) 105
Turkey (2) 97
Mrs Haddock (5) 96
Norton (4) 93

Midders has jumped three places to the top!!! A solid 7 saw him outgun the rather lame leaders emoticon

McGetta had the division's best tally (9) to put him back in the running and Mrs "Wooden Spoon" Haddock looks to be shedding her old ways with a decent 5 to make up further ground on the strugglers around her.

Re: Latest Standings - 2010-2011

Week 25 - 5th & 6th March 2011

Div 1

Ian (8) 134
Cheshire (7) 123
Locky (4) 120
Blimby (7) 119
Wills (3) 119
Gong (0) 119
Munkeyboy (7) 117
Dave (6) 117
Wilts (8) 112
Rochdale (5) 112
-----------------------
Haddock (2) 110
Early (4) 102

Ian is now breaking well clear in the title race. Long time rival Gong slumped to a dreadful 0 to drop 4 places - with others closing in below.

Cheshire now holds 2nd with a continuation of his recent excellent form.

Wilts bounces straight back to climb out of 'the zone'...welcome back to the bottom 2, Haddock!!! :verysad: Early finally makes it to triple figures!

Div 2

Eric Cornflake (10) 124
Midland (6) 122
----------------------------------
SDU (5) 120
The Future Mrs Wills (10) 119
McGetta (7) 118
Sharon (3) 116
Andy (5) 113
Braders (7) 112
Mrs Haddock (7) 103
Turkey (6) 103
Norton (5) 98

Eric and TFMWills struck 10 each to change the landscape of Div 2. Eric has hit top spot, squeezing Midders to 2nd by a matter of 2 points.

SDU is the victim of Eric's high-scoring as he drops out of the places.

Mrs Haddock's incredible rise emoticon sees her out of the bottom two for the first time all season (I think!) and Maria needs just two more points to achieve the dubious honour of being last to hit three figures!!

Re: Latest Standings - 2010-2011

Week 26 - 19th & 20th March 2011

Div 1

Ian (3) 137
Cheshire (4) 127
Locky (5) 125
Gong (4) 123
Munkeyboy (5) 122
& Dave (5) 122
Wills (2) 121
Blimby (1) 120
Rochdale (6) 118
Wilts (4) 116
-----------------------
Haddock (4) 114
Early (4) 106

Not really much to say this week. Gong bounced back up a bit and Rochdale had the best score across both divisions with a 'middling' 6 on a low-scoring PL / FL weekend.

Div 2

Eric Cornflake (2) 126
Midland (3) 125
----------------------------------
SDU (4) 124
McGetta (4) 122
The Future Mrs Wills (3) 122
Sharon (2) 118
Andy (4) 117
Braders (3) 115
Turkey (4) 107
Mrs Haddock (3) 106
Norton (4) 102

Same in Div 2 with hardly any changes of position at all! Only notables are that Midders slightly closed the lead (by one point), Mrs H has dropped back below Turkey and Norton has finally joined the 100 Club of which everyone else is already a member! emoticon

All in all a thoroughly boring and uneventful weekend!

There is play this coming weekend despite the international programme as only FA Cup weekends are excluded (apart from semis weekend).
