Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Week 14

Division 1

Wilts (6) 77
Locky (11) 76
Gong (5) 74
& Munkeyboy (5) 74
Cheshire (6) 73
Early (6) 72
Sussex (6) 71
Ian (7) 68
Wills (3) 68
Haddock (8) 66
Dave (8) 65
-------------------------
Norton (9) 63
Mrs Haddock (3) 61
Mr. Plankton (3) 53

So Wilts holds the lead with 6 but the standout mover this week is 11-point Locky who jumps a massive 5 places into 2nd AND just 1 point away from top spot.

Meantime Dave climbs out of the drop zone at the expense of Mrs H (te he).

Division 2

Rochdale (5) 75
Blimby (10) 72
Kev (7) 72
----------------------------
Sharon (5) 64
The Mistress (11) 62
Phil (2) 62
Wynford (6) 59
Braders (7) 56
McGetta (3) 55
SDU (7) 54
Andy (6) 45

The Mistress was the standout performer in Div 2 with 11, though Blimby's 10 puts him right in the mix for promotion.

Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Week 15

Division 1

Wilts (3) 80
Cheshire (6) 79
Locky (3) 79
Early (6) 78
Munkeyboy (3) 77
Gong (0) 74
Sussex (0) 71
Wills (2) 70
Haddock (2) 68
Ian (0) 68
Dave (2) 67
-------------------------
Mrs Haddock (5) 66
Norton (3) 66
Mr. Plankton (2) 55

So a very low-scoring affair due to the internationals and a good transfer decision for Chesh by the looks of it. He scored 6 via his newboys Huddersfield. Early also notched a healthy 6 and those big guns are closing in on the top in an increasingly tight title race.

Division 2

Rochdale (2) 77
Kev (3) 75
Blimby (2) 74
----------------------------
Sharon (5) 69
The Mistress (3) 65
Wynford (4) 63
Phil (0) 62
Braders (3) 59
McGetta (3) 58
SDU (3) 57
Andy (3) 48

Roch is still clinging onto topspot in Div 2 .

What a joke, I knew Forest had it in them to score goals and as they had not achieved changed them.
This week they score 4. emoticon

Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Week 16

It's back! After the cup exploits of last week.

And boy does SDU wish he didn't swap Forest (5-1 winners) for Cardiff (1-0 winners!)

Here are the updates:

Division 1

Early (7) 85
Wilts (5) 85
Cheshire (5) 84
& Locky (5) 84
Munkeyboy (6) 83
Gong (5) 79
Wills (8) 78
Sussex (5) 76
Haddock (7) 75
Ian (6) 74
Dave (6) 73
-------------------------
Mrs Haddock (6) 72
Norton (3) 69
Eric Cornflake (4) 59

NEW LEADER!!!!! Earrrly! And it's even tighter at the top ... if that's possible! 5 seemed a popular score this week but strong scoring from some near the bottom sees Norton lose ground and Eric Cornflake losing touch with civilisation altogether!...that's what you get when you dabble with the devil (Palace).

Division 2

Rochdale (9) 86
Blimby (7) 81
Kev (5) 80
----------------------------
Phil (11) 73
Sharon (4) 73
The Mistress (6) 71
Wynford (6) 69
McGetta (8) 66
Braders (2) 61
SDU (2) 59
Andy (1) 49

Rochdale has strengthened his hold on the leaderboard in Div 2 with a good week's work (9) and the top three have begun to pull [sign in to see URL] like we have a fair idea of who's coming up! Though wait! Who's that but my old mate Phil who's best score of the week puts him in prime spot for an assault on the top 3! A quality 11 is his best so far this season.

Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Week 17

First of [sign in to see URL]: your team selections are fine and you are in the game!

Now to the updates...

Division 1

Wilts (6) 91
Cheshire (5) 89
& Locky (5) 89
Munkeyboy (5) 88
Early (2) 87
Gong (5) 84
Wills (5) 83
Haddock (7) 82
Dave (8) 81
Sussex (5) 81
Ian (4) 78
-------------------------
Mrs Haddock (3) 75
Norton (4) 73
Eric Cornflake (3) 62

So Dave pipped me to the Week's top scorer title with 8 points to my 7 But it's Early who'll be most disappointed this week with a lowly 2 goals that see him drop all the way from (his short-lived) top spot down to 5th.

Div 2 to follow later today (ran outta time for now!)

....

....and finally! Here are the Div 2 [sign in to see URL] the midweek goals don't count so this is re: last weekend fixtures only:

Division 2

Rochdale (5) 91
Blimby (6) 87
Kev (2) 82
----------------------------
Sharon (6) 79
Wynford (7) 76
The Mistress (4) 75
Phil (0) 73
McGetta (1) 67
Braders (5) 66
SDU (3) 62
Andy (3) 52
Superseagull (7) 7

So Wynford continues his rise towards promotion and new boy Superseagull got off to an impressive start, both players scoring 7 a piece.

Meantime Phil saw all the good work of his 11 goal haul last week undone with a miserable, big fat 0

Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Week 19:

Division 1

Locky (5) 100
Munkeyboy (5) 98
Haddock (7) 96
Wilts (2) 96
Wills (7) 95
Cheshire (3) 95
Ian (8) 92
Dave (4) 92
Gong (5) 91
Early (3) 91
Sussex (5) 90
-------------------------
Mrs Haddock (5) 84
Norton (4) 80
Eric Cornflake (5) 73

Locky holds the lead for a second 'week' and in so doing is the first player in the top flight to break the 100 barrier, so congrats to him!

I've continued my rise, jumping two more places to third after a 4th consecutive score of 7 and the biggest mover (5 places) is Ian with the week's best Div 1 total of 8, propelling him up 4 spots and away from the danger zone.

It's now getting even tighter in Div 1 with just 10 points separating the top 11.

....

Division 2

Blimby (7) 103
Rochdale (7) 102
Sharon (4) 91
--------------------
Wynford (4) 87
Kev (3) 86
Phil (9) 83
The Mistress (2) 79
McGetta (6) 74
Braders (4) 71
SDU (2) 65
Andy (3) 56
Superseagull (7) 20
WynfordSon (4) 4

Blimby and Rochdale stay 1st and 2nd after solid 7s, taking them both over the 100 mark and they are now creeping away from the pack.

Phil was the country's best with an excellent 9, recovering from recent bad form and rising to 6th. Elsewhere Superseagull continues his great start into his 3rd week with another [sign in to see URL]'s only 36 behind the woeful Andy now! And debutant WynfordSon starts with a 4.

Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Week 20:

Division 1

Locky (9) 109
Haddock (11) 107
Munkeyboy (8) 106
Early (14) 105
Cheshire (9) 104
Wilts (6) 102
Gong (9) 100
Ian (8) 100
Wills (5) 100
Dave (6) 98
Sussex (6) 96
-------------------------
Mrs Haddock (10) 94
Norton (6) 86
Eric Cornflake (2) 75

I've moved up yet another place to 2nd (my season's highest) and closing in on the leader Locky, but the headlines belong to Early with his stunning tally of 14, impressive even in a generally high scoring round. He moves up several places right back up to 4th.... He goes up and down like a prostitute!!!

Division 2

Rochdale (12) 114
Blimby (11) 114
Sharon (8) 99
--------------------
Kev (12) 98
Wynford (8) 95
Phil (10) 93
McGetta (13) 87
The Mistress (8) 87
Braders (6) 77
SDU (10) 75
Andy (6) 62
Superseagull (7) 27
WynfordSon (8) 12

Rochdale grabs back top spot, yet again, (just!!!) but McGetta's personal best super-tally of 13 thrusts him up to the outskirts of the promotion battle. Congrats to him.

Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Week 21

In a week decimated by postponements due to the weather, little footy action sneaked through the snowy gaps, but from what did manage it a few miserly points were accumulated thus:

Div 1

Locky (2) 111
Haddock (3) 110
Munkeyboy (2) 108
Cheshire (3) 107
Early (1) 106
Wills (4) 104
Ian (3) 103
Gong (2) 102
Wilts (0) 102
Dave (0) 98
Sussex (1) 97
-------------------------
Mrs Haddock (2) 96
Norton (0) 86
Eric Cornflake (3) 78

So Corny makes up a bit of ground at the bottom, I inched a bit closer at the top and Wilts suffered a drop in the rankings due to a 0.

Little change in the table overall.

Division 2

Blimby (5) 119
Rochdale (2) 116
Sharon (5) 104
--------------------
Kev (2) 100
Wynford (4) 99
Phil (2) 95
McGetta (2) 89
The Mistress (1) 88
Braders (1) 78
SDU (1) 76
Andy (1) 63
Superseagull (6) 33
WynfordSon (4) 16

So very little movement in Div 2, but a new leader again as Blimby scored a very decent 5 to overhaul Roch. Sharon also notched a healthy 5 to firm up 3rd spot and the humiliation of my mate Andy continues with another 5 points being clawed back on him by late starter Superseagull, who has an excellent record so far and a weekend's best of 6! Congrats to him.
