Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Division 1

Cheshire (3) 30
Munkeyboy (1) 28
Wilts (1) 27
Early (2) 25
Sussex (2) 24
Wills (0) 24
Gong (2) 23
Ian (2) 22
Mrs Haddock (2) 22
Locky (1) 22
Norton (1) 16
Mr. Plankton (0) 16
Captain Haddock (1) 15
Dave (1) 13

Division 2

Sharon (2) 25
Kev (1) 25
Phil (2) 24
Rochdale (3) 22
Wynford (5) 20
Blimby (4) 17
McGetta (2) 17
The Mistress (1) 15
Andy (2) 14
SDU (1) 13
Braders (1) 12

So Cheshire strengthens his position at the peak of Div 1 with a 3-goal-haul (division's best) in a low-scoring week, due to the international [sign in to see URL] tactics / planning from the title-favourite.

Early has quietly sneaked up a couple of places to [sign in to see URL] he prove a dark horse?

Div 2, meanwhile, is starting to look VERY interesting with my sister reaching the summit, taking advantage of Kev's second successive 1 point weekend.

But Phil, Rochdale and Wynford are all closing in with progressively bigger scores to tighten the title chase up!

Blimby also scored very well with 4 to keep in touch with them.

Performance of the Week: Wynford, with an excellent 5 points for his Bristol Rovers and Rochdale picks (see The Gasheads are doing right by you despite the Lambert departure, Paul! Fear not!)

Week 6:

Division 1

Early was the country's best with a double figure special of 10, pipping fellow high scorers Haddock (for once!!!) and Munkeyboy, who grabs back the hotspot from [sign in to see URL] title race has got even tighter with Early's and Wilts' strong scoring.

By contrast, absolute disaster for Sussex, who's 3 saw him overtaken by a swayth of [sign in to see URL] plummets several places to 10th.

And Planky has hit rock [sign in to see URL] 2 points seeing him overtaken by Norton, Dave and I.

Week 7:

Not many changes in the order this week, despite a high scoring [sign in to see URL] one noticeable change was me overtaking the missus!! :woohoo:

However, the leaders, including one of the season's favourites, Chesh, are being closed in on by another of the bookies faves: Gong, who top-scored with a dazzling 12!

In Div 2, Rochdale and McGetta were the big movers with 11 [sign in to see URL] cruising up and clear in top spot in the process!!!

As a footnote, Gong joins Wills in sharing the best weekly total of the season so far with that 12 point haul!

Week 8:

So, Dave joins the elite band of people who've notched up 12 during a weekend and duly rises the [sign in to see URL] only by 1 place for now! Munkeyboy stretches his lead at the top with Chesh stumbling a little and Wilts taking [sign in to see URL] second place!

One to watch is Ian, who follows up last week's tally of 10 with an even better 11 to move into 4th and to within 6 points of the summit.

In the second tier, Braders continues his recovery from a wretched start, Roch keeps top spot and my mate Andy suffers another miserable weekend (like his beloved Darlo) with just 1 [sign in to see URL] Darlo's real points tally from Saturday!

Division 1

Munkeyboy (9) 54
Wilts (8) 50
Cheshire (5) 49

Week 9:

Plenty of people firing blanks this week (including me!)...cue gags from the regular wags amongst us!). But no blank from Plank though, as Mr P scored a personal best of 11 to climb off the foot of the [sign in to see URL] minor miracle in itself given the gap that had opened up!

Not much movement up top except Wills scored well to squeeze up. Still no clear favourite for the title.

In Div 2, Kev has snatched the lead back from Roch, while McGetta climbs a couple of places.

Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Week 10:

A very low scoring week with all the PL and Cham'ship sides out of action (+ Leeds and Brizzle [sign in to see URL] to international duty?), so loads of 2 point totals this week.

Only notable scorers were the rising star of the game, Early and Div 2's Blimby, who both scored a highly creditable 4.

Please note the relegation / promotion dotted lines are now up to make things more interesting (daunting in my case!....although I waited til the missus slipped back in the danger zone first! emoticon)

Division 1

Munkeyboy (2) 59
Early (4) 55
Wilts (2) 55
Cheshire (2) 53
Wills (1) 53
Locky (2) 50
Ian (0) 48
Sussex (0) 45
Norton (2) 44
Gong (0) 44
Haddock (2) 43
-----------------------
Mrs Haddock (1) 43
Dave (2) 41
Mr. Plankton (1) 40

Division 2

Kev (2) 53
Rochdale (2) 51
Blimby (4) 48
----------------------
Phil (0) 47
Sharon (0) 46
Braders (2) 39
& Wynford (2) 39
McGetta (0) 38
SDU (2) 37
The Mistress (2) 35
Andy (1) 29

Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Division 1

Wilts (9) 65
Munkeyboy (4) 65
Cheshire (6) 62
Early (2) 60
Wills (3) 59
Locky (4) 58
Sussex (8) 56
Gong (6) 56
Ian (5) 55
Mrs Haddock (5) 53
Dave (6) 52
-----------------------
Norton (4) 49
Haddock (2) 49
Mr. Plankton (2) 46

So Wilts top scores with a stunning 9 that takes him up to the top of the pile! Great scoring from further down the table with Sussex notching an 8 that lifts him up the ranks nicely and Dave climbs out the relegation zone with a good 6.

Division 2

Kev (8) 63
Rochdale (1) 59
Sharon (7) 57
----------------------
Blimby (3) 55
Phil (3) 54
McGetta (2) 45
Wynford (2) 45
Braders (3) 43
SDU (3) 42
The Mistress (1) 42
Andy (6) 38

Kev's top-scoring 8 lifts him back above Roch in the Div 2 title race, while a decent score from my mate Andy (for a change!!!) keeps him in touch with [sign in to see URL]!

Re: 2009-10 Latest Standings

Week 13:

Division 1

Wilts (6) 71
Gong (13) 69
Munkeyboy (4) 69
Cheshire (5) 67
Early (6) 66
Sussex (9) 65
Locky (7) 65
Wills (6) 65
Ian (6) 61
Haddock (9) 58
Mrs Haddock (5) 58
-----------------------
Dave (5) 57
Norton (5) 54
Mr. Plankton (4) 50

There really is only one story this [sign in to see URL]'s titanic tournament-record-winning tally of 13! Beating the previous record of 12 shared by Wills, Dave and the big man himself.

G leaps no less than 6 places up into 2nd in the table and hot on the heels of championship leader Wilts, who has improved to a clear lead this week.

Division 2

Rochdale (11) 70
Kev (2) 65
Blimby (7) 62
Phil (6) 60
Sharon (2) 59
Wynford (8) 53
McGetta (7) 52
The Mistress (9) 51
Braders (6) 49
SDU (5) 47
Andy (1) 39

The endless tussle at the top sees the lead change hands yet again! Once again Roch is in the limelight after his towering tally of 11 and a dreadful week for Kev.

The Mistress equalled her top score to date (9) to lift herself away from the wooden spoon position, rising 2 [sign in to see URL] mate Andy slips back to usual form with a woeful 1 to find himself seriously adrift at the bottom of the table.
