The Saints come into the City for a Sunday Service + Predictions

So what a surprise winning 0-3 away to West Ham. Were we that good or West Ham that bad. That may all depend on who answers that question. Many seem to think we played well, while some especially among the hammers ranks, will say their team were very poor and Brighton nothing special. Which basically means we should be beating teams like Brighton!

Certainly for this season (and maybe for many a season if we keep in the Premier that long) we will no doubt always be 'little ole Brighton', a team other fans will already have penciled in as an easy 6 points. However, we are refusing to follow the straight down predictions, just how good this result is we maybe have to note their home form to date, which is won 2, lost 1. The loss was to a rampant Spurs side in a 2-3 match, the two games won were both clean sheets. Maybe that speaks for itself.

Now onto Southampton, who we enjoyed a bit of rivalry with back in our last season at Withdean and first season at the Amex, before they fast-tracked themselves back to the Premier league and top flight football where they have been for most of their recent history.

Their current away record is win 1, draw 1, lose 1 so one of those ones will be changing, hopefully the last one.

This is also a 1.30 Sunday ko, like our last home match, but this time there is I believe TV coverage in this country and not just for our new fan base in India!

The away win fooled most of us, but not Haddock or Sully who both predicted the win, but not by 3 goals, and no one had Murray down as scorer. So a low scoring round, can anyone do better for the Southampton match?
